SAS THG (hereinafter "we", "our service") is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy is written in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679).

Data collected

We only collect data strictly necessary for the service to function: your email address and password (authentication), your profile preferences (gender, search type), conversation content you voluntarily submit for analysis, the relations and messages you create in the app, and anonymised technical data (error logs, general usage).

Purposes and legal basis

Your data is processed on the basis of contract performance (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) to provide the service, and our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) to improve the app. Your data is never sold to third parties or used for advertising purposes.

Sub-processors and transfers

To operate, Lenis uses the following sub-processors, all bound by confidentiality obligations and data processing agreements:

• Supabase Inc. (database hosting, USA) — transfer governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
• xAI (Grok, AI analysis, USA) — transfer governed by standard contractual clauses.
• Anthropic PBC (Claude, AI processing, USA) — transfer governed by standard contractual clauses.

Content submitted to these services for analysis contains no data that directly identifies you.

Retention period

Your data is retained for the entire duration of your account's activity, then deleted within 30 days of account closure. Billing data is retained for 10 years in accordance with French legal accounting requirements (Art. L123-22 of the French Commercial Code).

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights: access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), objection, restriction of processing, and portability. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to support@lenis.app. If a dispute is not resolved, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, or with the French authority (CNIL — www.cnil.fr).

Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Access is protected by authentication and all communications are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. No passwords are stored in plain text.

Cookies

The Lenis mobile app does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Technical local data may be stored on your device solely for the app to function properly (session, preferences).
